International express courier shipping sends small parcels and samples by DHL, FedEx, or UPS, with pickup, air transit, customs entry, and doorstep delivery in one service. It suits parcels up to about 70 kg per piece and urgent samples, e-commerce orders, and documents. Transit is typically a few business days to major markets, depending on destination and carrier. Heavier or bulkier cargo usually moves more cheaply by air freight, and full loads move by road or sea.
How International Express Courier Works at Speedline
- Order confirmation. We confirm the parcel weight, dimensions, pickup address, destination, and goods description, and check whether the goods need dangerous goods handling.
- Pickup and consolidation. We collect from the supplier, or receive parcels at our Yiwu, Guangzhou, or Foshan warehouse and combine samples into one shipment.
- Shipment and tracking. The carrier issues a tracking number and an air waybill. You can follow the parcel from pickup to signature
- Delivery. The parcel reaches the consignee, with electronic proof of delivery.

Express or Air?
Express parcels are the right mode for small, urgent shipments. Air freight is usually cheaper once the shipment passes about 200 kg, and sea freight suits full containers. Ask for a quote with your weight and dimensions and we will tell you which mode costs less for your shipment.

US-bound parcels are dutiable regardless of value. The duty-free exemption for parcels under $800 no longer applies. We recommend DDP so duties are known before the parcel leaves China.Â

Express to Germany, France, Poland, and the wider EU is typically 3 to 10 days depending on the carrier. EU duty rules for low-value parcels are changing, so duty will be confirmed on quote.
Samples, Consolidation, and Amazon FBA
We receive sample cartons from multiple Chinese suppliers at our Yiwu, Guangzhou, or Foshan warehouse, check contents, and combine them into one express shipment. This reduces the number of separate courier charges. For Amazon FBA, we pack to the carton limit (50 lb or 22.7 kg per carton) and apply FBA carton labels. Confirm the FBA destination region before shipping.

Customs, Duties, and Documentation
Express parcels clear customs through simplified express entry in most destinations. Every parcel needs a commercial invoice with item descriptions, unit values, total value, currency, and HS codes. Duty-free thresholds differ by country and change over time. The US position changed in 2025 and 2026: duty-free entry for parcels under $800 is no longer available, so US-bound parcels are dutiable. The EU position is also changing for low-value parcels. We recommend DDP for any lane where the duty position is uncertain, so the buyer knows the total landed cost before shipping.

Packing and Dimensions
Carriers charge on the greater of actual weight and volumetric weight. Volumetric weight is calculated as length x width x height in cm, divided by the carrier’s divisor. Oversized or loosely packed boxes add cost, so we use double-walled corrugated cartons, H-tape sealing, and corner protection for fragile goods.
Carrier piece limits differ, so check the table in this guide before packing. Remote area surcharges apply when a delivery postcode falls outside standard urban zones. We check destination postcodes in advance so you can see the surcharge before you ship.
Lithium Batteries and Dangerous Goods
Products with built-in lithium batteries (laptops, smartwatches, wireless devices) can sometimes ship by express. Acceptance depends on the battery type, how it is packed (with equipment or inside it), the carrier, and the destination. You will need a UN38.3 test summary and a safety data sheet (SDS) for the battery. Some lithium-ion batteries packed with equipment must now ship at no more than 30% state of charge.Share your product’s safety data sheet and HS code before booking so we can confirm acceptance.
